Well you guys can stop with the doom posting, Volume 6 has been scheduled for release on Jun 25th

https://twitter.com/yuri_navi/status/1776886744253858120

Since only four chapters are not collected is safe to assume we'll see new chapters starting this month or the next to complete the volume before it releases.

Oh boy, a Citrus+ release announcement—what a relief! Good thing they never turn out to be wrong.

Thank you for the information, and I apologize but since there were no chapters since October and since Yurihime magazine and the author herself did not release information, I did not know what was happening. what has been said, my Apologies, and this means that this month or at most the following month we will have a chapter. Thank you

New chapter will come out in the upcoming May publication (July issue). You can check the info from the current June issue Yurihime back page, or simply directly head to yurihime's website under the next issue preview tab. Having 6 months of no new publication is still alarming while there is no official explanation from either the publisher or the mangaka. It will be very interesting to read Volume 6 though, because perhaps the mangaka needs lots of time to rework the chapters?

The back page for the June issue has the usual Q&A session with all the mangaka, this time is about asking them whom do they admire most. I think all the mangaka gave their answers including those who replied "nobody". Saburouta simply was not listed and hence was missing at the Q&A session. I find that extremely strange since everyone just submitted a one or two sentences answers. So Sabu did not even do that, very strange indeed for someone who work in Yurihime for over 10 years. Health reason? Burned out? Artistic clash with the new chief editor? Going back moonlighting shoujo manga? Who knows.

Who knows, I recently read a comment on Twitter, where they said that perhaps those 6 months of break were to reflect and shore up all the fringes of history as a sign of entry into the arch. Final. It is very common among mangakas that when they are going to enter their final arc, they leave themselves a few months off beforehand to reflect, but everything is speculation, because neither sabu says anything, nor the Yurihime magazine neither .what you say about the question and answer session in the yurihime magazine perhaps I indicated other things. The truth is that it is certainly strange. the future will say

Guys, I understand being worried about the series' future and the reasons for the sudden hiatus but it does no good to listen and then spread completely unfounded rumors that randos pull out of their collective asses, that will only harm the fandom and will easily snowball into something ugly.

Let's simply wait for either Sabu or YH to make an official statement about the future of the series.

Make no mistake What is really hurting the fandom is the lack of official information and that's why there are speculations . I don't think that neither yurihime nor flavoruota magazine have the most Minimal complaint of citrus fandom, it is one of the least toxic and most patient fandoms in this entire manga world, it only asks for a little reciprocity. That being said we have a chapter next month And to enjoy. Greetings

Re-reading the last few chapters. I notice Yuzu is wearing her ring out in the open, including at school, I thought that is a no no, and they agree not to wear it at school? Did Sabu forget?

“Did the author forget?” is the perennial question about such details in this series.

OK. Read it finally. Not putting spoilers, but I do want to know what happened at the very end when Mei acknowledged Yuzu's question concerning the document on Mei's desk. So the question is:

Is Akamine Academy available for acquisition (買収) to anyone or just an exclusive submission for sale to Aihara only? I have a feeling Arata does not even know how bad his school's situation is. On the other hand, I wonder how much dirt Yuzu managed to dig up from Arata.

This is going to be a long arc I think.

without any spoiler. This chapter 35 should have been chapter 32, with that I say it all. My interest is getting lower every day, let's hope the story picks up a little more pace

Regarding my question, Scanlation seems to indicate that the document Looks like an offer of acquisition from Akamine to Aihara.
Now we have to wait to at least July to find out what is the new development.

As per usual, Meibot.exe failed to execute the communication subroutine, so Yuzu went on her own with zero context, got the wrong message and ended up disappointed and hurt, yet again.

I don't really blame Mei here. If anything Yuzu has always seemed a bit too insecure based on very little interactions with this guy. Mei has reassured her a few times now, as well. I don't think talking with a guy for work warrants intense discussions but maybe that's what Yuzu will need. That can't always be the case though or it'll be exhausting for Mei too. Either way, I can understand both of their perspectives somewhat, even if I lean towards Mei quite a bit.

Yuzu does have a tendency to never press Mei on anything and to just dive headfirst into situations without taking the time to figure stuff out first. Still, with Mei never bothering to communicate the important information to her EVER, you can't exactly blame Yuzu for the situation either. She's actually a very bright, resourceful girl, but it always feels like Mei can't bring herself to trust her to handle important matters.

Well, this will be interesting, because this quite clearly means that instead of cooperating with him, Mei is actually working against Arata's interests.

I view Mei as overwhelmed, focused, and driven. Often that kind of focus can create tunnel vision. She has a lot of pressure on her shoulders. She also knows Yuzu is not really knowledgeable about these affairs. I don't think Mei intends to hide things; she just prefers to work independently, which I think is fine in a relationship. Most of Yuzu's issue is with this guy, not with Mei's work. The work is tied to her worries because the guy is involved in it.

Regarding Arata, I don't see much reason for Yuzu to be this insecure. I don't think Mei needs to constantly reassure Yuzu when Mei's done nothing suspicious. I do understand Yuzu, but I just side more with Mei here. I also understand Mei's feeling offended because after a while that level of insecurity can seem like a comment on Mei's loyalty. I agree with Yuzu's desire to be supportive, but she seems to think being supportive means literally being involved in Mei's work-- even that is partially fueled by her worry over Arata.

Every time I feel like you guys are reading an entirely different manga than me.

In this chapter, Yuzu finally gathers the courage to ask Mei about everything related to Arata and the Akamine Academy issue and Mei is more than willing to tell her everything and put Yuzu's fears to rest (she even shows a ping of jealousy at Yuzu and Arata becoming close). Amusingly, Arata is basically a male Yuzu thrown into Mei's role.

I am curious to see how this arc will develop since I didn't think Aahara was outright trying to take over Akamine, I want to see how Arata will react to this development.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new ship Aratayuzu, what good chemistry between the two, they are very similar in their personalities and they understand each other perfectly. Excuse my delusions, but since the author has forgotten about the romance between Yuzu and Mei, I have to hold on to something and if nene can handle the harayuzu because I can't hahahaha and if anyone has complaints, I'll send them to my lawyer. I want to see romance, I'm interested in academies minus zero. greetings

Agreed about Mei and yeah I'm not sure where this will go. There's a lot of places she could take it. I always thought Mei would actually be the one who is concerned by Yuzu's (unintended) closeness to Arata, who seems alright. I think I commented that here as well (that he might get the wrong idea from Yuzu), so we'll see if that does indeed become a little thread at all. It's good for Mei to close this chapter of her life before fully starting her life with Yuzu.

How does adding the running of an entirely different school to her current business agenda (you know, the one that's already so full that she is unable to celebrate Yuzu's birthday despite being in the next room from her) constitute Mei "closing this chapter of her life"?
